Jim Lindell's Legacy

Our founder, Jim Lindell, started building boats in the early 1960s as a high school freshman on Camano Island, Washington. That took him from the boatyards of the Skagit Delta to Southeast Alaska, where he revolutionized hull design for himself and other commercial fishermen.

We’ve continually adapted, extended, and improved those concepts into the state-of-the-art rugged ocean vessels that still bear his name: Lindell Yachts.
